Welcome to the Cowboy’s World

Born in Corpus Christi (too dang long ago to tell) the PalletMaster (aka Old Cowboy) is home on the range in Fort Worth, Texas. After having learned that in addition to his mobility impairment he was both a insulin dependent diabetic and suffered from a lung disease called COPD which required him to be on oxygen 24 hours a day he faced two choices, curl up and die alone in a lonely world, or get out and go for a ride on the wide-wide web and create a brand new window on the world and an exciting life for himself.

This website, with its 460 plus pages, is the result of that decision, for it is here where he now lives, where his friends are. He lives through his faith, poetry, patriotic, inspirational and nostalgic pages. The poetry and prose is drawn from his memories of the world during WW-II and following that once was, the world that now is, and in a hope for the world that will be.

He rides the range alone, with only the companionship of his two dog; “Baby” who has been with him ten years, and the memories of “Mocha” a nine-year-old Pug rescue who passed away in 2003. The computer is his world, the dog his companion and his flowers his passion. He must write from his heart; for his head, lacking a writer’s education, is unlearned.

As one of his readers you have now joined his circle of friends; welcome, pull up your chair, and enjoy the many pages presented upon this canvas. Email is appreciated and answered; comments are solicited and acted upon. He will be equally happy building you a website or writing you a poem.
