I See Your Soul

As I sit here longing in my lonely nights, I dream of your beautiful face, and then it’s as if I see inside your soul two thousand miles away. Within my heart I hear the words that I know you would say if you were only here...

In my lonely dreams I feel your embrace and your once tender kiss; my soul cries out in pain for it's those things we once shared, that I now sadly miss...

But now I can feel the strength of your loneliness too, just as I can feel when you're weak or in pain, for despite the distance our souls are still joined. I only wish I were there to comfort you when it's comfort that you need...

But I toss alone in this empty bed, visions of your beauty running through my head. In my mind’s eye I can hear your breathing and I now share some of your fears, and until you’re back in my arms the days seem like years...
