Longings Of The Heart

I know your feelings of loneliness as you reach out once again trying to escape from the hauntings of your spirit, as the passions of desires continue to burn, for I too sit.... Our souls are alike, we both share the kindred needs, wishing to again be somewhere, with someone, a part of another person's life in a place far from here... Wishing... Seeking...Longing... Willing once again to risk our hearts!

Again we are willing to open the gates, allow our dreams to build, willing to hope again as we reach out to that new voice on the web. Wondering fearfully, will this be the one, will the next email rekindle the flames? Each of us hoping, praying, wanting... wishing to again be somewhere, with someone, a part of another person's life in a place far from here...

We begin to feel relaxed as the icon pops up to tell us someone is on line once more. We dare to smile, to hope anew... For a moment not alone, is this the start, will it grow from here, or will it only add to the pain, bring back the memories. Hoping, praying, wanting... wishing to again be somewhere, with someone, a part of another person's life in a place far from here...

For the moment we are happy, we chat, we exchange email, we wish, we hope. Is this a beginning, or is this the punishment we must eternally suffer for the painful memories in our past? But come what may, we will still hunt for that special person out there in that large world at the other side of our monitor, connected only by our keyboard, each of us hoping, praying, wanting... wishing to once again be somewhere, with someone, a part of another person's life in a place far from here...
