As the world awoke I was already sitting here on my porch watching yet another lonely sunrise. The beauty they say awaits in each new day was un-welcomed in my sleepless eyes. As I gazed at the slowly retreating darkness in the sky above I thought about the clouds of pain this new day would bring.
Winds of change have stirred me from my place once filled with love and peace. When you left me, sitting here alone in the storm, a rain drop fell to match the tears sliding down my face. With every single heartbeat the beauty once around me began to fade from my life. I can not help but wonder, where is the rainbow that is supposed to follow the storm?
My tranquility now broken, the peacefulness my life once held now gone. How can I be thankful for another day you ask... Simply by knowing that somewhere out there you will find the happiness I never found...
