Each night as I sit here on this old porch in the dim moonlight, with all those stars, I find my thoughts and prayers turning to old memories of you. My one wish is that where ever you are, you're safe, happy, and have plenty of love.
If I could live my life over, everyday I'd pick all your favorite flowers and place them in your arms. I'd reach out to bring you a smile and happiness every day. I'd have you here in bed beside me as the sun rose each morn. I would watch the soft morning sunlight playing across your beautiful sleeping face, warming your heart as each new day begins.
Just as God places a rainbow in the sunlight following the rain, I'd chase away all the dark clouds in your life if I could but hold you in my arms again. Sunshine and flowers are what I would give you, nurtured forever with my love!
