All The Years Went Hurrying By

All the years seem to have hurried by so fast, once young, now old, once alive, but now lonely, I can ony cling to your memory, not wanting to let go of that time in my life. I think of what was in our past and find myself wondering, could I have changed it...

Those were such tender, precious moments in time, but all so long ago. But the memories are seemingly never ending. The days, sped so slowly into months and slower still turned to years, years of darkness and pain... I tried to tuck them away, in the recesses of my mind, but night time brings them scurring back to plague my dreams...

All my friends tell me to look forward to my future... But what future exists for me when your smile has gone away?
